Saturday morning shabbat services
Agudath Achim is a friendly, welcoming synagogue where people from all walks of life and all levels of observance come together for traditional services - including prayer, reading of the Torah and blessings for the healing of any in need.
Shachrit (morning prayers) 9:00am
Torah Service - approximately 10:00am
Whether your background is extensive or limited, whether you prefer English or Hebrew, there are ways for all to participate.
And did we mention Kiddush lunch?
All are welcome to stay for lunch every Saturday morning following services.
Friday Night Lite (once a month)
At this innovative 45 minute experience, we will give the normal prayer books the night off - accessing the beauty of shabbat, relaxation and prayer through the user-friendly poetry, prayers (all transliterated) and songs of Likrat Shabbat - a prayer book designed specifically for Friday night. All are welcome. Once a month - check the calendar for the next Friday Night Lite.
5 Beautiful minutes to end the Sabbath and start a New Week. All are welcome to Rabbi Winnick's home each week at the close of the Sabbath for this short and sweet ceremony.
Call the synagogue office at (501) 225-1683 for directions and more information.
Weekday Minyanim in honor of Yahrzeits
As a smaller community, we are not able to assemble a minyan every day. But as a caring community, we come together for specific occasions such as to be able to recite Kaddish on the Yahrzeit of a relative.
Please contact the office or the Rabbi about scheduling a minyan.
